Security firm association membership requirement: Office of Fair Trading

All Queensland security firms are required to be a member of an approved security industry association.  The requirement for security firms to be a member of an approved security industry association began on 24 February 2011.  As of this date, existing security firms have 60 days to become a member of an approved association.  Security firms who do not have an active membership with an association by 26 April 2011 will be at risk of having their licence cancelled.
