Commercial Medium Project
Winner: Stowe Australia Pty Ltd for the Building Services Authority Office Accommodation project
Stowe Australia was the successful tenderer to supply, install, test and commission the Building Services Authority Office Accommodation project.
A challenging requirement of this project was to ensure that all exposed surfaces were to be painted black. After consultation, Stowe Australia concluded that paint may ultimately affect the cable, so they approached Systimax to manufacture a special run of Cat 6 cable in black, which was an innovative alternative.
Stowe Australia worked with Schiavello Fitouts, one of the most successful and respected office fitout construction managers in the Brisbane market, on this project. Due to the team's successful outcome, Stowe Australia and Schiavello Fitouts have since commenced work on a $4 million fitout for Virgin Blue.
