About the course
Are your safety management systems in place? There are legislative requirements for every contractor to have safety systems.
The NECASafe OHS Management System is primarily, but certainly not exclusively, intended for small to medium sized businesses that have minimal or no OHS systems in place. NECASafe has two basic functions: firstly to provide 'ready to use' OHS management resources and, secondly, to give organisations the opportunity to have their management systems audited by NECA using industry standards.
The NECASafe workshop is held over two days. The first day is to provide the building blocks and the second day is about putting those blocks together in the shape of your organisation and implementation. The workshop is meant for contractors and office administrators - those who have the responsibility and authority for administering OHS in their organisation. Implementation actions are critical and having a system is the starting point, but documented proof of what has been done is essential.
